The nature park "Yamsky Forest" is a well-planned natural park with an area of 150 hectares with several forest lakes and a preserved natural landscape. The paved paths are convenient for rambling, as well as for cycling and roller skating. Previously, the old Moscow - St. Petersburg highway ran here, the Yamsky stations were located here. Under Nicholas I, the road changed direction, but the history of the place inspired the creators of the park to call it "Yamsky Forest". The park is planned in such a way that visitors can not only walk on foot, but also play sports. On the territory there are 8 km of paths made of wood chips and 10 km of paved paths for cycling, roller skating and bicycle cars. There are a large number of berry and mushroom clearings in the park. It will be interesting for children to walk along the "Ant Trail" to the giant anthills and observe the life of hardworking insects. In winter, the park turns into a fabulous snow kingdom. Here you can take a ski trip along pre-lit trails or play snowball fight . At any time of the year in the park, you can make barbecue in specially equipped summerhouse or relax in picnic glades.
